Author Events - Our guest authors for November's First Friday are Melinda Wentzel, Jeanne Wilhelm and Alivia Tagliaferri. Both Melinda and Jeanne have chapters in bigger books of an inspirational nature. Melinda's chapter, "Six Simple Words," is in the book, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Divorce and Recovery: 101 Stories about Surviving and Thriving after Divorce. Melinda (also known as "Planet Mom" to those of you who read her column in the Webb) writes about the challenge of trusting yourself when love comes calling again. Jeanne's chapter, "Strawberries in January," is in the book, A Cup of Comfort for Families Touched by Alzheimer's: Inspirational Stories of Unconditional Love and Support. Jeanne writes about the up-side of memory loss! Both have points to ponder. Alivia's book, Still the Monkey: What Happens to Warriors After War, deals primarily with post-traumatic stress disorder. You can meet all of these authors First Friday, November 7, from 5 to 8 at Otto's," a booklover's paradise, in the heart of downtown Williamsport".
